Ventilation
Good ventilation and a properly selected ventilation system ensure optimal air circulation in buildings and premises, as well as maintaining certain amplitudes of the local microclimate at home, office, commercial premises or industrial site, which we have equipped with this system.
What it is for and how it works?
Each ventilation system has the task of keeping the air in the closed rooms clean, fresh and fresh, for this purpose it supplies the fresh air with the flow that is needed by all living, living or working in these rooms. At the same time, it removes moist and polluted air from the premises.
In order for a ventilation to be as effective as possible, it must be properly designed, the air duct systems must be precisely dimensioned in order to achieve the correct air exchange.
The most important thing in building the project:
With well-designed and built ventilation systems, fresh air enters at a uniform speed and flow in each room, which is easily achieved with the correct selection and distribution of ventilation grilles. Due to the parameters of the ventilation system, the air entering the premises is pre-treated by filters and by a sector for preheating and / or humidifying the air flow. At the same time, during the design, it must be provided that the outside air is sucked in from areas where there are no sources of harmful emissions, so that the premises do not introduce harmful substances or odors from the outside.
Who needs a ventilation system?
The increasingly active introduction of such systems is largely related to the qualities of construction. Until recently, it was built with poor quality insulation materials and poorly sealed windows, which allowed the so-called. natural ventilation, today the buildings are better and better insulated, energy efficient and soundproof, which has a negative effect on the natural processes of air exchange.
The introduction of such a system in a building helps to provide sufficient amounts of fresh air in the premises, the lack of which leads to unpleasant human conditions such as drowsiness, headache, dizziness, decreased concentration, fatigue, nausea, fatigue and others, and in some cases depression. , eye irritation, difficulty in our airways or the appearance of cardiac arrhythmias.
Good air exchange helps to combat moisture, which usually occurs from activities such as breathing, ironing, cooking, washing, drying clothes, odors, layered indoors without natural ventilation.
Types of ventilation systems
There are different types of ventilation systems, in the choice of which we must take into account mainly the respective purpose of the building or room that is ventilated, as well as the specifics of the requirements of the environment.
Ventilation is conditionally classified by service areas, according to which it can be local or general exchange, by its purpose - suction or discharge, by its design - duct or ductless, and by the method of airflow control - with mechanical drive or with natural drive.
In general, we can say that the exhaust ventilation serves to remove moist and polluted air to the outside, while the tensioning supply clean, filtered, humidified and heated air flow in the premises.
Mechanical ventilation uses equipment such as fans, electric motors, air heaters and dust collectors, which allow active mixing of the air flow, while natural ventilation involves movement due to the difference in ambient air temperature and indoor air.
With local ventilation, clean air is supplied to certain places, and polluted air is removed only from where there are harmful emissions. General exchange ventilation, for example, is widely used when placing individual fans on a wall or window, which perform only the most common necessary air exchange in the room. If the ventilation has a network of air ducts for air movement, it is duct, and if not (for example, when using only a fan) - ductless.
Nowadays, the need for efficient ventilation systems is increasingly coming to the fore. Their entry into everyday life is a matter not only of practicality, but also of basic health norms, observance of the rules for labor safety (if we are talking about ventilation at the workplace), ecological norms, energy saving.
Today, no one questions the mandatory need for fresh air in every room, whether it is at home or at work.
The European Union has made it a key obligation to have effective ventilation in every public and administrative building in the Member States, as well as in offices, offices, industries and homes.
