The History of LG

The history of LG begins back in 1958. Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company has more than 200 offices and branches in 80 countries around the world and currently employs 200,000 people. LG is developing mainly in 3 areas - Electronics, Chemicals and Telecommunications, and the group includes 44 companies.

The LG brand was "born" after the merger of two South Korean companies - the electrical engineering Goldstar, now known as LG Electronics (which produced the first Korean radio) and Lucky, which produces household chemicals. In 1995, the two companies merged to form Lucky-Goldstar, hence the acronym "LG". The slogan of the corporation "Life's good" was logically chosen, reflecting the company's desire to constantly improve people's lives.

Ultimate Inverter Compressor is the new inverter compressor used in the Multi V 5 series. Thanks to innovative technologies and materials, the efficiency of the entire system has been increased. The operating range has been improved and the compressor now reaches operating values from 10 Hz to 165 Hz. Smart Oil Management is a function that monitors the oil balance in the compressor in real time.
