About natural gas

The use of natural gas as a heating fuel is becoming more and more popular worldwide. In recent years, this trend is increasingly noticeable in our country.

This is due to several important advantages of this natural resource:

Profitable: natural gas heating is cheaper than electricity. Through a modern gas installation, you can not only heat, but also cook and supply your home with hot water, which is an additional saving. One of the few options in which you can keep track of exactly how much energy you have used and exactly how much you will pay, conveniently and easily from your home;

Highly efficient: the efficiency of modern gas equipment reaches 98%, because gas condensing boilers also use the heat released during the condensation of water vapor from the exhaust gases;

Comfortable: The advantage of gas as an energy source is that it does not require transportation, storage or cleaning due to the operation of the appliances, which saves time and effort of the customer. Natural gas reaches the end user through a gas distribution network and thus the heat you need is available at any time, whether for heating, cooking or hot water.;

Security: The modern technologies used to improve the safety of the appliances, regular maintenance and installation by a reliable service ensure trouble-free use of all gas appliances in your home. Natural gas has no odor, but is additionally flavored, it is also lighter than air and dissipates quickly if it gets outside the installation.;

Control: you can control modern appliances quickly and conveniently by starting, stopping or selecting a different temperature for each room, which helps to optimize your monthly bills. Even better, this can happen from a distance;

Environmentally friendly: It is no coincidence that many developed countries are increasingly relying on mass gasification. The main advantage is that after the use of natural gas, no harmful particles such as dust or soot remain, which greatly pollute the Earth's atmosphere.

Gas boilers - Classification

They can be divided into different characteristics and features. In general, they can be divided into conventional and condensate. The first type is based on obsolete technology and after 2016 they go out of use through a directive imposed by the EU, which prohibits their production and import.

Condensing gas boilers meet all modern eco standards. Their efficiency is much higher, often exceeding 95% and this is due to the residual energy used by the condensation process. These boilers are extremely economical, which makes them the preferred choice of thousands of households.

In turn, condensing gas boilers can be divided into two types - single-circuit and double-circuit. The disadvantage of single-circuit appliances is that in order to heat water, it is necessary to install a boiler for domestic hot water, which involves additional investment and effort. The advantage of double-circuit models is that they can provide hot water on a flow basis, without additional equipment or costs. It can be said that double-loop models displace single-loop alternatives.

How it works?

When the gas burns, steam is formed. The flue gases leave the boiler at a temperature below 55 C °, and condensation occurs below this temperature. In the process of condensation of water vapor, energy is released, which we also call hidden heat of vaporization. An important condition for the correct and efficient operation of the condensing gas boiler is that the installation is low-temperature - such are systems with convectors, underfloor heating or other systems designed for low-temperature heating.

Important features are modulation and power range.

Modulation:

is called the ability of the boiler to change its power depending on external conditions. In the absence of such a function, the boiler turns on and off each time the preset temperature is reached, which significantly reduces its efficiency, increase in bills and faster depreciation of the device.

Power range:

is the difference between the minimum and maximum power of the boiler. Pay attention to the minimum power - the lower it is, the more economically and efficiently the whole installation would work. This is extremely important during the transition seasons, when heating needs are lower.

BAXI – security and quality

In an effort to offer products and services of high quality and competitive prices, the team of Chernev Clima chose to work with the Italian manufacturer and market leader Baxi. The company is based in Italy and has over 30 years of experience in the production and distribution of heating appliances.

These gas boilers have several advantages:

Low minimum power:

The global trend in the industry is marked by a high growth in the demand for boilers with low minimum power, as they are much more economical and sparing the family budget. Most modern models offer a minimum power starting at 6.5 Kw, while models such as the BAXI Duo-tec Compact support 3.4 Kw;

Wide range of modulation:

it is usually 1:7, which leads to a reduction in the number of shutdown and start-up cycles of the system, thus reducing the monthly heating bills;

Gas Adaptive Control:

Innovative technology that uses new electronics and a gas valve. The microprocessor takes care of the automatic combustion control in order to keep the system parameters in the range of the highest efficiency;

Cascade system:

BAXI condensing boilers can be connected in a cascade system, which implies the use of several boilers in one installation and reaching a nominal power of up to 100 Kw, thus they can be used not only for domestic but also for industrial heating;

Control panel with LCD display and USB port:

allowing easy and precise system management. There is a visualization of all the necessary information and the introduction of various parameters. The USB port offers the possibility to set up a separate boiler or the whole system, and pre-selected data can be set;

More extras:

The advantages are the compact size, the clean design, the possibility to connect to a solar installation, the silent operation of the combustion chamber, the integrated climate control system and others.

Choosing the right model:

depends on many factors. For optimal operation of the installation it is extremely important to choose a boiler with the right power for you. For this purpose, it is recommended to perform full thermal calculations of the building. Factors such as the exposure of your home, lack or presence of insulation, whether the neighboring homes are heated, how often doors and windows are opened in the heated rooms, the quality of the windows and others are taken into account. Based on the obtained results, the choice of the other heating elements from the installation is based.

The team of Chernev Clima specialists is ready to help you choose the right model for you. With us you can find a full range of items for your gas heating system. We can assist with the preparation and implementation of design, delivery, installation and commissioning of the entire system.
